The Mayor’s Jumpstart Academy is a pilot program that will identify current or future entrepreneurs and provide them with financial literacy training, credit building tools, entrepreneurship training and a network of mentors and peers. In partnership with Justine Petersen, Urban League of Palm Beach County and Co.Starters, participants who successfully complete the Co.Starters portion will have a pathway to additional financial and technical assistance. MJA aims to support entrepreneurs who have been historically excluded from access to capital and fill in this gap in our local entrepreneurial ecosystem.
