Four Local Entrepreneurs Compete for $40,000 at LaunchCon Pitch Competition Presented by FINSYNC

COLUMBUS, GA – October 20, 2025 – Four bold founders from across the region are preparing to take the stage at the LaunchCon Pitch Competition presented by FINSYNC, where they’ll compete for $40,000 in prizes and the chance to turn their ideas into thriving businesses.
The event takes place on Thursday, October 23, at the Columbus Convention & Trade Center, as part of Startup Columbus’s annual LaunchCon conference, celebrating entrepreneurship and innovation in the Chattahoochee Valley.
This year’s finalists include:
- Mya Swayby, MindMunch – innovative mental-wellness content for the modern generation.
- Mayah Whitlow, vRACi – a digital platform designed to enhance student engagement and access.
- Ed Norris, Promo Mob – a mobile-first marketing and promotions solution for local businesses.
- Tara Harris, Femeflex – a product designed to support women’s health and wellness.
“FINSYNC helps founders set a solid financial plan and connect with investors, lenders, and partners at the right time,” said Jason Whitney, Executive Director of Financial Networks at FINSYNC and one of this year’s judges. “It’s about more than just a pitch — it’s about equipping entrepreneurs with the tools and confidence to turn ideas into thriving businesses.”
In the weeks leading up to the competition, FINSYNC worked with semi-finalists to strengthen their business plans and funding readiness, providing access to its Funding Navigator tool and Financial Network that connects entrepreneurs directly with lenders and investors.
The LaunchCon Pitch Competition presented by FINSYNC is free and open to the public from 5 PM to 8 PM.
