MindMunch Wins LaunchCon’s 2025 Pitch Competition: Transforming Screen Time into Smart Time

Columbus, GA, October 28, 2025 – MindMunch, a creative learning app that turns doomscrolling into learning, took home the top prize at the LaunchCon 2025 Pitch Competition, hosted by StartUP Columbus and presented by FINSYNC.
The LaunchCon Pitch Competition, inspired by the television show Shark Tank, was the centerpiece of the annual entrepreneurship conference. The event united founders, investors, and community leaders to celebrate innovation and awarded $40,000 in prizes to startups.
The winners were:
- Grand Prize: Mya Swaby- MindMunch, a gamified screentime manager that turns screen time distractions into opportunities to learn. The venture is said to be an innovative approach to mental-wellness content for this generation of internet users.
- Runner Up: Tara Harris- FemeFlex, a product designed to support women’s health and wellness.
- People’s Choice Award: Ed Norris- PromoMob, a custom design and manufacturing company that uses a mobile-first marketing and promotions approach for small businesses.
“Winning LaunchCon means so much more than just funding; it’s validation that what we’re building with MindMunch truly matters,” said Mya Swaby, founder of MindMunch. “The event was incredible, and the support from FINSYNC, the judges, and the other founders was overwhelming in the best way.”
